Every citation QanoonAI gives you is drawn from a real judgment in our corpus of over 186,000 Pakistani court judgments, and is shown with a link to that judgment so you can read it yourself. The AI does not invent case law. If it cannot find an answer in the corpus, it says so rather than guessing. As with any research tool, verify before you file.

Judicial tools operate in an isolated workspace: judge data lives in its own database schema, protected by row-level security and a separate audit trail. AI prompts for judicial tools are strictly neutral with zero advocacy language. Judges cannot access lawyer drafting tools, and lawyers cannot access judicial tools. A legal consultant reviews all judicial tool outputs.

Over 186,000 full-text judgments: the Supreme Court of Pakistan, all five High Courts (Lahore, Sindh, Islamabad, Peshawar, Balochistan), the Federal Shariat Court, the Supreme Court and High Court of Azad Kashmir, the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court, and the service, labour, tax and customs tribunals. The corpus is expanded in batches as new reported judgments become available.

AES-256 encryption at rest on the database and on every uploaded document, TLS in transit, session tokens held in httpOnly cookies that browser JavaScript cannot read, and tenant isolation enforced by the database itself through row-level security rather than by application code alone. Admin actions are written to an audit log. Two-factor authentication is available and can be required for admin accounts.

All 18 calculators are 100% deterministic — no AI is involved at any point. They run on the server against rates and schedules taken from Pakistani law (Income Tax Ordinance 2001, Sales Tax Act 1990, the Limitation Act, Zakat & Ushr Ordinance 1980, Islamic inheritance rules and the customs PCT schedule). Identical inputs always produce identical outputs, and every result shows the slab or rule it used so you can check the working.
